What we do to get people to walk! A “walking at work” campaign was started at Paramalat to get sedentary employees moving on their breaks and to address the hazards of too much sitting.
Sitting is the new smoking! We are sitting down more than ever before in history ( average of 9.3 hours/day), even more than we spend sleeping (average of 7.7 hours/ night). Our bodies were not built for that, and it is starting to take its toll.
